Somaschini’s group does not carry out internally heat treatments and entrusts this important process to specialized companies located in the immediate vicinity, with which specific cycles according to different materials are agreed.

The heat treatments are mainly:

• isothermal annealing
• case-hardening and tempering
• nitration
